Whether you're a new E-Rank newcomer or an experienced Level 80 Hunter on the brink of becoming the world's best, your success in Solo Leveling: Arise will be directly determined by the strength and synergy of your Sung Jinwoo build. But because Solo Leveling: Arise features five distinct Stats to upgrade, over 50 Weapons to use, and nearly 350 Artifacts to equip, crafting the perfect build can feel like a mind-numbing task.

In this Solo Leveling: Arise guide, we'll list the best Weapons, Artifacts, Stats, and Skills to prioritize when assembling your Sung Jinwoo build.

Before going in-depth about the best Stats, Skills, Weapons, and Artifacts to prioritize when crafting your Sung Jinwoo build, it's important to note that there is no universal "perfect build" for a few reasons.

Firstly, Solo Leveling: Arise features prominent gacha mechanics that will drastically impact your inventory. You may not have access to some of the SSR Weapons listed below, but with over 50 Weapons to choose from, there's always a worthwhile replacement. Alternatively, you may own one of the Skills highlighted below, but if you don't have the Runes that really make that Skill shine, you won't see the same value others might.

Secondly, your Sung Jinwoo build should constantly change based on your inventory, the game mode you're playing, the Hunters you're taking into battle, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of your enemy.

With that note out of the way, continue reading or click one of the links listed below to learn more about a specific section of this Sung Jinwoo Build guide:

Best Sung Jinwoo Stats

Stat CategoryEffect
StrengthIncreases Attack Damage. Enhances the damage provided by all of Jinwoo's Skills.
VitalityIncreases HP and Defense.
AgilityIncreases Critical Hit Rate and Critical Hit Damage.
IntelligenceIncreases Mana Points and reduces Cooldowns.
PerceptionIncreases your Precision which increases your minimum damage threshold.

Every time Sung Jinwoo Levels Up, you'll earn Stat Points that can be assigned to one of the five Stat Categories listed above to upgrade your Total Power. Though you may feel inclined to distribute Stat Points into each category to create a well-balanced build, this is a bit of an ill-advised strategy because not all of Jinwoo's Stat Categories are as impactful as they may seem.

Strength and Perception are by far the two most important Stats to prioritize because despite having various upgrade options and countless complex mechanics, Solo Leveling: Arise is ultimately a game focused on your damage output. Whether you're looking to cut through a boss' ironclad shields or facing off against an army of monsters, the strength and consistency of your damage will determine whether you emerge from a dungeon victorious or empty-handed.

Because assigning Stat Points to your Strength acts as a global buff to your damage multipliers, it is inarguably the most important Stat to prioritize, especially in the early game. While assigning Stat Points to your Strength will never wane in value, the same cannot be said about your Perception which is why it should be second on your priority list.

Upgrading your Perception increases your minimum damage threshold and your goal should be to invest enough Stat Points in your Perception to increase your Precision to around 80%. At 80% Precision and above, your damage will remain impactful regardless of your opponent, and if needed, extra Precision can be obtained through Weapon Advancement.

If you want to invest Stat Points in the other categories, it wouldn't hurt to improve your Agility or Intelligence. Improved Agility can help make your Critical Damage more consistent and Intelligence can be valuable if you prefer Skills with lengthier Cooldowns. We do not recommend assigning Stat Points to your Defense as the strength of your Dash and Shadow Step largely renders the Stat useless. After all, there's no point in heightening your Defense if you don't have the firepower to vanquish your enemy.

Best Sung Jinwoo Skills

Selecting the best Sung Jinwoo is quite challenging because the effectiveness of each Skill is dependent on the Runes you've unlocked, your Artifacts, and your Stat Point distribution. Runes alter a Skill's damage multiplier, the status effects they can inflict, and more, drastically changing their combat effectiveness.

With this in mind, we're highlighting the Skills that provide the most overall value regardless of your Runes. This way, you can comfortably Level Up Skills without feeling that you've wasted resources on a lackluster attack.
