Is Greenville, TX considered East Texas? ›

Worth metropolitan area, Greenville has all of the charm of a small East Texas town, but with a wonderful twist and some fun surprises! For instance, nestled among the shabby-chic shops and down-home restaurants, you'll find an award winning winery, vibrant public art, and numerous live entertainment venues.

Will my donation stay in our area? All sellable items are offered for sale in our local stores. Items that are not sold within a reasonable period of time might be sold to bulk purchasers. The revenue generated from these sales is used to help local people find employment.

We are locally controlled and operated.

We are one of 150+ Goodwill organizations in the U.S., each individually managed by a local CEO and volunteer Board of Directors.

Drop off your accepted donations at any store and receive a tax receipt during regular store hours or use a 24-hour donation dropbox for small, non-fragile items at our 47th & Broadway and Newton locations. Please do not leave donations outside the building after hours due to the potential for damage or theft.

Greenville Reviews. Greenville has great community parks to take kids and the schools have great facilities. The traffic can be hectic at times but isn't typically terrible. The road aren't the best and have numerous potholes that need to addressed.

These days, the average American has about 70 pounds of clothes annually to donate or throw away, with the vast majority (around 85 percent) of those old clothes ending up in landfills. Even when we donate our clothes, they may end up doing less good than you think.
